Is BLACK OPS Getting A Fourth Map Pack?

Digital Spy posted an interview with Call of Duty design director David Vonderhaar on their website yesterday morning that has led to speculation about a forth map pack release for Call of Duty: Black Ops.

The interview was actually a discussion about the third Black Ops map pack 'Annihilation' that was just released for Xbox 360, but what seems to be getting all the attention was a statement made in the interview that teased at a fourth map pack add-on for Black Ops.

When asked about the possibility of a forth map pack release for Call of Duty: Black Ops Vonderhaar replied, "I can't talk to anything beyond 'Annihilation', but keep your eyes peeled..."

Though still only based in rumor, it would be huge news if true because historically Activision has only followed up the two previous Call of Duty installments (World at War and Modern Warfare 2) with three DLC map packs post game release.

So, will there be a fourth map pack? I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but it's probably worth noting that Black Ops was also making headlines yesterday with news that it had become UK's best selling game in history, selling a record 3,722,411 copies and passing the previous record holder, Modern Warfare 2, which had sold 3,702,410 copies. (Black Ops achieved the same accomplishment in the U.S. back in March, becoming the best-selling game of all time when it was revealed that Black Ops had already sold 13.7 million copies since it's release in November 2010).
