UNCHARTED 3 Multiplayer Beta Begins Today

Let the games begin! Today marks the start of the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta which will continue on through Wednesday, July 13th. Initially, the beta testing will only be open to PlayStation Plus members as well as those who purchased select copies of inFAMOUS 2. However, according to Naughty Dog's website, the beta will later open up to EVERYONE by Independence Day -- Monday, July 4th.

Naughty Dog also provided fans with a 'Handy Time Zone Guide' so you can get your game on as soon as the beta becomes available in your area.

Throughout the 3 week beta, there will reportedly be 7 rotating game modes over a total of 3 maps and a level cap set at 25. Progress, unlocks, and achievements earned while playing will not carry over to the full game, however, beta testers who do purchase the full game will be able gain access to exclusive bonuses.

- Download the Uncharted 3 Beta and receive the exclusive UNCHARTED 3 PSN Beta Tester Avatar
- Complete 10 matches in every Gametype of Competitive Multiplayer & receive the Exclusive Beta Decal Pack 1
- Complete 5 matches in every Gametype of Co-operative Multiplayer & receive the Exclusive Beta Decal Pack 2
- Complete 4 Treasure Sets and receive the Treasure Hunter's Starter Pack
- Rank up to level 25 in the Beta and receive a handsome reward of in-game cash on day one
